Required From: Due to additional High Needs Funding, we are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team as soon as possible to support a pupil with an EHCP in EYFS.

Contract Hours: 32.5 hrs per week

Salary: KR3 - £11.04 per hour

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, with a keen interest in SEND, to work in our lovely village school. We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, firm and caring individual to support a child in EYFS with an EHCP and Higher Needs Funding. The post is dependable on annual review of higher needs funding.

The successful applicant should have some experience of working with pupils with additional needs, with experience in supporting pupils with autism and is able to support an individual personalised plan.  

You should be able to work well in teams, to liaise with parents and to recognise and implement key approaches to learning to support the child. 

This Teaching Assistant position will have you on your feet from day one!

Teaching Assistant experience would be desirable but is not essential. A willingness to work in a team and a flexible approach is essential alongside initiative and the ability to take ideas forward.
