Exam Invigilators

Required ASAP

Casual contract £11.04 per hour

The Malling School is seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our experienced team of Invigilators.

Exam Invigilators are responsible for overseeing and supervising examinations to ensure that they are conducted in such a manner so that there can be no suggestion of improper conduct, unfairness, advantage or disadvantage to any candidate.

We are looking for individuals who are able to work on an ad hoc basis around exams, to work individually or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and be able to follow all instructions, including those set by the Exam Board.

Responsibilities include

  • setting up of examination rooms 
  • ensuring a calm environment
  • ensure that candidates follow exam regulations at all time
  • Maintain security and confidentiality at all times
  • To highlight concerns to Line Manager

Information about the school

A mixed 11-19 co-educational High School of 1,000 pupils serving the historic market town of West Malling and surrounding villages. The school is set in pleasant rural surroundings and has its own lake and extensive grounds. It was completely re-built in September 2007 and therefore has outstanding facilities.

West Malling is close to the county town of Maidstone and has excellent rail links to London and Ashford International (for the Continent).
