Exams Officer

Salary: TSAT Pay Group 5 £27,733 - £33,438 for hours and weeks stated (£29,633 - £35,729 FTE)

Hours per week: Full time, 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus 4 weeks)

Rochester Grammar School are seeking an efficient Exams Officer to manage the exams processes across the school.  The successful candidate will ensure that all examinations throughout the school, internal and external, are well planned, scheduled and executed.  They will ensure that the school’s management information systems are accurate and available at all times to produce the required information.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the administration and entry of public and mock examinations at all levels including GCSE and International Baccalaureate courses, to include the development of electronic process liaising with examination boards as appropriate.  There will also be a requirement to manage the mocks exams in liaison with the Data Manager, Heads of Department/ Associate Leaders and site staff as appropriate.  They will ensure the security and storage of students’ exam papers, records and results and make arrangements for issuing of results as necessary.
