Teaching Assistant

Salary Scale: Veritas Range 3– £20,104.00 (pro rata £13,721)

30 hours per week (8.30am – 3.30pm daily)

We are a rapidly expanding, two-form entry primary school and are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our team. (Previous candidates need not apply). The position is on a temporary contract, term time only, in the first instance and is to start in September for five days per week for 30 hours. Experience of working with children would be desirable.

You will be working alongside our vibrant team to support inclusive practice for all our children through our irresistible curriculum.

Information about the school

Our school has been part of the Veritas Multi Academy Trust since May 2018. Ofsted report September 2022 rates our school as GOOD with an OUTSTANDING Early Years. Our irresistible curriculum and inclusive ethos ensures that all children achieve their potential.

The school is a light and airy building, which incorporates 14 classrooms, two Learning Zones and a library. The school has a large playing field at the rear, an ‘outdoor’ classroom where we have a forest school on site. Play equipment for all ages can be found on the playground.

The school has a strong pastoral focus supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic staff team.
