Hours:             Monday – Friday – 08:30 – 15:30 (Term-Time only, 39 weeks with opportunities for flexible working)

Salary:            £25,333 per annum (pro-rated to term-time only, actual salary £19,000)

Starting:          September 2023

We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with students who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to join our exceptional team supporting students with their academic, personal and social development.

West Heath School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, works towards helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood. All of our learners have Education, Health and Care Plans and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement.

The successful candidates will have a good level of Maths and English and a flexible approach to working as Sixth Form students require support at external locations, such as therapeutic farms and colleges.  Candidates local to Maidstone and Medway are particularly welcome to apply as we have a number of Sixth Form students based in these areas.  Successful candidates need to have a valid driving licence in order to transport students using school vehicles.
