An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Science Teacher with responsibility for Second in Department as a TLR.

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and ambitious member of staff who is passionate about the subject, the development of staff and can inspire our students to achieve.  

Applicants should preferably have either a Physics or Chemistry specialism.  We would also consider a  Biologists.  We currently offer IB Biology and BTEC Applied Science at Key Stage 5 and would like the successful candidate to oversee these as part of their TLR.

The Science Department is a leading department within the Academy, who works closely together to lead change in the Academy to ensure our students are motivated and enjoy the subject.

The department has well written and resourced schemes of work, whole class marking feedback policies and regular time together as a department to share good practice and embed change effectively.  We are looking for a new member to help lead our busy, happy team.  If this is you, we would welcome your application to join our friendly and supportive team either in September 2023 or January 2024.
