Spring Grove wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and creative individual who can bring high quality support to children in the school, for a fixed term until July 2024, although there is the possibility of extending the role.

They will join a hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who are committed to improving outcomes for children in their care.

We are looking for somebody who can be flexible and support learning in a creative way.

Our ideal candidate will:

Positively promote inclusion and enjoy taking the lead when working with children and inspire them to achieve high standards and realise their potential;

Have a calm and caring approach with children, providing diligence and confidence necessary to support our children;

Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting;

Be a team player who can work successfully in collaboration with all stakeholders and contribute towards the schools ethos and its whole school activities.

Information about the school

Spring Grove School is an independent Nursery and day school that offers an outstanding all-round education and a fantastic start in life for children aged 2 to 11 years. The school was rated ‘Excellent’ in all aspects in its most recent (February 2023) ISI inspection. Spring Grove is ideally located in an idyllic 14-acre rural setting just outside the village of Wye, and close to both Ashford and Canterbury.

At Spring Grove School we provide an inclusive environment and education underpinned by high quality, expert teaching that is targeted to the needs of each child. The school is also well known for its excellent extra-curricular provision, including music, drama, dance, art, Forest School and sport.
