Attendance Improvement Manager 

Permanent – Immediate start or as soon as possible

32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 10 extra days in the school holidays

Salary Range: Kent Range 623,801.00 - £25,262.00 FTE)

We are looking to appoint a part time Attendance Improvement Manager who is passionate about helping students achieve the highest possible attendance in school and thereby helping to give them the best opportunity of success.

Attendance is an essential aspect of a successful community, academic success and future prospects. If attendance is outstanding, then students have improved life chances and will make more rapid progress both academically and socially.

The Attendance Improvement Manager will strategically respond to improving attendance, assist parents/carers in improving their child’s attendance and to ensure clear systems and processes are in place to track and monitor attendance.

Personal qualities will include excellent organisational skills, enthusiasm, high standards, a strong personality and a sense of humour. It is also essential to be a team player, but also able to work with minimum supervision, knowing when to seek support and advice.  You will need to be calm, patient and be able to empathise with students and parents/carers. You should have a flexible approach to all aspects of the job role.  You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to foster good working relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
