We are looking to appoint a SEND Administrator to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Inclusion Managers at our two primary schools, Twydall and Riverside, as part of a professional team supporting excellent provision for pupils with SEND. The role will involve carrying out a wide range of operational tasks, working across both schools, to provide and maintain comprehensive administrative support for SEND processes and systems.

Key tasks will include:

  • monitoring and updating information held electronically, including on SIMS, ensuring all data is up to date and accurate;
  • maintaining records in digital and hard copies, ensuring paperwork is recorded and filed accurately and is made available to the relevant people;
  • collating and preparing paperwork for various aspects of SEND, including information related to assessments, referrals to other agencies, care plans, funding applications and the Annual Review process for students with EHCPs;
  • liaising with parents and carers to enable timely information sharing and accuracy of records;
  • liaising with other professionals to arrange visits and appointments.

Information about the school

These values are Curiosity, Happiness, Aspiration, Respect, Articulacy, Community, Teamwork, Equality and Resilience – ‘Character’.

The school has two integrated special provisions for a small number of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Visual Impairment, who are taught in the mainstream classes with appropriate support.
