Riverview Junior and Infant Schools seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, and proactive Caretaker to start in September 2023,

The role would be for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, All Year Round. The annual salary is £20,103 

The role would involve undertaking caretaking and cleaning duties throughout the whole  site. Supporting the Premises Manager for the Riverview Schools. Duties will include security, cleaning of premises, porterage, litter picking and the handling of lettings. This role is responsible for the security of the school premises and will assist in the role of ensuring site Health and Safety compliance on a day to day basis.

Information about the school

Riverview Junior School is a very popular four form entry Key Stage 2 school on a large site we share with the Infant School.

Our extensive site offers lots of opportunities for outdoor learning, including an outdoor library, two football pitches, MUGA, outdoor intervention area, animal farm and forest school, and we offer large well-resourced classrooms.

We are delighted to announce that our recent Ofsted inspection, carried out in February 2022, graded the school’s overall effectiveness as ‘Good’ with ‘Behaviour Attitudes’, ‘Personal Development and Leadership Management’ all being graded as Outstanding;.

We are now part of The Golden Thread Alliance and we work closely with the other schools in the trust.
