New Line Learning are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective maths specialist with a passion for their subject.  You will need to share this passion with students to excite and inspire their learning journey.  

The post offers an outstanding opportunity for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher looking for career advancement.  This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher.  The person appointed would be supported by a strong and well-established Maths team, led by an excellent Head of Mathematics.

As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities.  New Line Learning value positive working relationships and seek individuals who will support this ethos. We are very excited about the future of Mathematics in our Academy and we are ready to invest in the right people to ensure its success. 

TLRs may be available for the right candidate who is looking to take on additional responsibility, this will be discussed at interview.

The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics who will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Recent, relevant teaching experience
  • Experience as an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire students
  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • The ability to teach Mathematics to a higher level at KS4.
