New Line Learning Academy is looking to appoint a highly driven and inspirational teacher of English full time/ Part time 0.6 or 0.8 who would relish the opportunity to become part of a successful department. The candidate should show a real passion for the subject and will be able to inspire pupils of all backgrounds. We are seeking a candidate who will support the development of our already successful English department, on a permanent basis. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for the subject, a desire to improve the outcomes of our young people and will become a valued addition to our well-established team.


The department values achievement for all and takes a proactive approach in ensuring that pupils have access to high quality teaching, a challenging curriculum and an extra-curricular programme that is designed to raise the aspirations of our pupils. You will be joining a well-resourced department, which ensures that staff wellbeing, as well as pupils’ achievement, is a priority.

The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring teacher of English, who will have:

  • Qualified teacher status
  • The ability to teach English language and English literature up to KS4
  • Recent, relevant teaching experience
  • The ambition of providing an outstanding education for all
