Teacher of Art at Greenacre Academy

Are you a dedicated Teacher of Art who is looking for a meaningful opportunity to impact the lives of students?  We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Teacher of Art to join our team.  This is a unique chance to bring the transformative power of art to students and provide them with a supportive environment to discover their creative talents.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement engaging art lessons that cater to all learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ emotional well-being and encourages artistic exploration.
  • Introduce students to a variety of art mediums and techniques, adapting and improvising with available materials to stimulate their creativity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the art curriculum.

Requirements: 

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent.
  • A degree in a related subject.
  • Passion for art education and the ability to inspire students.
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Skills for Life Trust, is an established Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which comprises of two secondary academies and three primary academies: Greenacre Academy, Walderslade Girls’ School, Warren Wood Primary Academy, Hilltop Primary Academy and Chantry Community Academy.
