The Abbey School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Cover Supervisor who is committed to excellence with immediate effect.

The successful candidate will ensure that there is an engaging and safe working environment for classes whose teacher is absent in order for all students to be able to access and complete the work set by the member of teaching staff.

The Abbey School is a mixed secondary school with a thriving population of over 1100 students. We believe that school should be a place where young people can discover and develop their own talents. We have high expectations of all our students, which are supported by consistently applied systems, structures, rituals and routines across our learning environment. We are a supportive school community including a positive staff team with high staff morale.

The school is offering an honorarium of £1.5k. This is split into the following payments - £750 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £750 to be paid in the second year of employment. This is subject to the successful candidate remaining at the school for at least that next year.
