Information about the school

We are a small federation, consisting of our Infant and Junior schools. We created our federation 6 years ago in order to ensure consistently strong practice across the primary phase. Since its creation, the federation has gone from strength to strength, harbouring a strong community feel, with outstanding relationships with our parents, and children who feel happy, safe and demonstrate a real willingness to learn. While still 2 separate schools with our own identities, we have a shared governing body and the leadership team works very closely together, sharing its vision and learning behaviours of Creativity, Exploration, Learning and Kindness in order to give our pupils every chance of success as they move onto their next stages in development. Children genuinely do come at the heart of all of our decision making and we are passionate about sharing our strong practice with the community – this is evident to all who visit us - and also with other schools

What our parents say about us – Parent Survey March 2023:

“The whole family is part of the school and not just the pupils. It’s a warm, welcoming environment for all. Happy to have my child in this school.” “Brookfield Juniors is fun and the children are happy and thrive 😊 We will always recommend this school to everyone” “Amazing school. Has given (redacted) all the opportunities to be the best version of herself” “Staff are approachable and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble.” “We’re so sad (redacted) will be leaving this year. This school has brought the best out in my daughter, I am so proud to say she goes here. Absolutely wonderful!”

What our staff say about us – Staff Survey January 2023: • 100% are proud to work at this school. • 100% enjoy working at this school. “I feel the school is lead by professionals with plenty of experience behind them. They always explain their decisions which I trust to be the right ones.” “Clear expectations, changes are small and manageable and feedback is taken on board.” “I have loved working at Brookfield. Teaching isn’t easy and I don’t think I would have stuck with it if I wasn’t in a supportive school that valued my own well-being. I’m also grateful for all of the opportunities and feel like I’ve had the opportunity to make a change in my own way. I always feel listened to and never feel like I’m asking a stupid question (even if I might be). Thanks for helping me to ‘flourish’.”
