We are looking for a qualified teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2023 to July 2024 for a small class of KS1/KS2 children. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and talented teacher to join our friendly, hard-working and supportive team. Platts Heath is an active learning school with three mixed age classes and is part of the Aspire federation. 

We are looking for an individual with the ability to maintain and develop the high standards of teaching and learning that exist within the school, whilst our current teacher is on maternity leave. In turn we are able to offer you the opportunity of working with children who are highly motivated, happy in their environment and display excellent behaviour patterns. 

The school does have a significant proprotion of SEND and we would welcome practitioners who support our inclusive and nurturing vision.

Platts Heath Primary School is a Good school and part of the ASPIRE Federation. A partnership of four small village primary schools in rural Kent, near the county town of Maidstone. Two schools are Church of England primary schools and two are community primary schools. The ASPIRE mission statement is:
