Teacher of English at Greenacre Academy

Salary: MPS/UPS + possible TLR/R&R for the right candidate

Required: September 2023

Hours: Full time, permanent

Plus a one off joining bonus of £2,000, paid in twelve monthly instalments

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated teacher to join our team as an English Teacher at Greenacre Academy.  The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in year 7-11 with a passion for helping students to achieve their full potential.  Experience of teaching up to year 13 would be preferable. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent
  • A degree in English or a related subject
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
