Are you an experienced School Business Manager looking for a new challenge? Temple Hill Primary Academy is seeking a talented School Business Manager to join our team.

  • 37 hours p/w, 52 weeks p/y
  • Kent Range 9 - £30,485 to £34,693 per annum

The School Business Manager role:

The role includes responsibility for leading the school operations and you will work as the lead support staff professional, working to assist the COO, DCOO and Head of School/Headteacher in their duties, to ensure that the school meets its educational and operational aims.

You will be responsible for premises, health and safety management, some aspects of HR and Personnel, along with the line management of admin staff, premises staff, midday meals supervisors, mini bus drivers and extended services teams. This is a varied and rewarding role which would suit a well organised, flexible person with an aptitude for hard work and creativity, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

We have 900 pupils, 150 staff, high levels of SEN, are located in an area of social deprivation, have strong relationships with each other and are looking for somebody who will go the extra mile to make a difference to the children. Somebody who enjoys a challenge - no two days are ever the same, and is passionate about providing the children with an array of opportunities to enable their success in life.

You must be an enthusiastic team player, where you need to productively engage with the team members, pupils and other school communities on a daily basis. You must be competent in the use of internet and email and be able to deal with face to face communications with confidence and tact. You must be educated to at least GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) and demonstrate a sound understanding of spelling and grammar.
