Student Pastoral Officer

Salary: TSAT Pay Group 3 £20,042 - £23,713 for hours and weeks stated (FTE £22,818- £26,997)

Contract: Permanent.  37 hours per week, 39 weeks (Term Time plus 5 days)

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Pastoral Officer to join our Student Services Team.  The successful candidate will work with students, parents, staff and other agencies to bring about improved behaviour and attendance at school, promoting positive attitudes from students and families towards education to ensure students benefit fully from the opportunities available to them.

 

They will help to address any pastoral or behavioural needs of students who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning, in order to achieve their full potential.  The successful candidate will take a lead role in promoting social, emotional and mental health, ensuring all necessary training is relevant and up to date.  They will also be willing to undergo first aid training and support the team in administering first aid.
