Job role: Science Laboratory Technician

Salary: FMAT Band Support Staff Payscale - £20,048.00

             From September 2023 - £23,293.00

Hours: 37 hours per week

Monday – Thursday - 8.30am – 4.30pm

Friday – 8.30am – 4.00pm

(30 minutes unpaid lunch break on all days)

Contract Status: Permanent

Contract Start Date: July 2023

Closing date: Friday 2nd June - Midday

The school is looking to recruit a Science Laboratory Technician to work within the Multi Academy Trust. Applicants should be education to A Level (or equivalent) in a Science and will Ideally have previous experience of working in a Science Laboratory.

The successful candidate will join a small team of technicians who support the delivery of the Science curriculum in school. You will have the ability to work in a calm and flexible manner and have a professional approach towards your work. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and ability to form positive working relationships and support students to make progress is paramount.
