We are looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our Teddies team working with children aged 2-3 years to cover maternity leave commencing September 2023.

You will need to  have at least an NVQ Level 3 or above and a thorough knowledge of the EYFS. We also require you to have a good grasp of English, both written and spoken to support children, parents and your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To promote a fun, high quality and home-like environment for all of the children
  • Supporting in planning and implementing a high standard of activities and opportunities for all of the children that support their personal development.
  • Having key children and completing observations and assessment reports.
  • Working in partnership with parents and carers by completing handovers at the end of each day and discussing children’s development.
  • Working closely with senior staff to support the continued development of the Nursery 
  • Adhere to all school  policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate team player qualities, while also being self-motivated and using your own initiative
