FIXED TERM HIGHER NEEDS FUNDING TEACHING ASSISTANT – 30 hours a week (9.00-3.30)

 

Position 1- Sept 2023 until Christmas 2023

Position 2- Sept 2023 until July 2024

Are you a team player, dedicated to making a difference to the children you work with?

St George’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a hardworking, flexible and inclusive teaching assistant to join our successful school. Our established team will support you in your role and provide any training required. This role also includes supervising lunchtime for an hour.

The following role will comprise of being the key adult for a pupil on the SEND register for some of the hours, leading a range of personalised interventions to meet their needs as well as working with pupils more broadly in the class for the rest of the hours.  You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, to support teaching and learning for this key pupil.

 

Experience of working in school is desirable. 

 

This role is offered for 30 hours per week 9.00 – 3.30 daily, term time only.

 

Current DBS and completion of compulsory in house Child Protection and Prevent training course will form part of any contract offered along with reference checks.

 

FTE range: £19,428 - £19,640 (September 22 scale) (for 37 hours a week, 52 weeks per year) Pro Rata
