Are you looking for a challenge?  Do you enjoy working with children?  Are you currently a HLTA looking to work in a different setting or are you ready to take that next step in your career?

Well, Christ Church CEP Academy could be the school for you!  We are looking for a HLTA to join our dedicated team to make a difference to the lives of our children.

The role is Full-Time (32.5 hours a week) and responsbilities will include (but not limited to):

  • PPA Cover
  • Group Intervention
  • Covering classes for Staff Absence
  • Planning and preparing and teaching Curriculum Lessons
  • Supporting and developing children with different needs
  • Working with a larger team

The role will be primarily based in Key Stage 2 but we do expect you to be flexible in moving between year groups to meet the needs of the school.  You will be instrumental in supporting our children throughout the school day by providing emotional and academic support where necessary.

The candiate should have the HLTA qualification already but, if not, we are happy to support the right candidate to complete this later on.  The candidate MUST have school experience and experience of working in/covering classes.

We may interview early for an exceptional candidate - visits to the school or a conversation are warmly welcomed.

Please contact the Headteacher (Robin Flack) for further information.
