Hours:             Monday-Friday 08:00am -16.00pm

Salary:            £24,008 per annum (actual salary)

Starting:          asap

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of curriculum knowledge and practical experience of delivering lessons. They should have experience of working in a school and an understanding of SEN in children and young people.

The role supports not only tutor sessions offsite but also incorporates attending offsite provisions such as; therapeutic farms; colleges and onsite provision when required. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will require their own transport in order to travel to between provisions.

West Heath School works towards the end goal of helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.  All of our learners have EHCP’s and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement.

West Heath School is an Independent SEN residential school with charity status. We provide a therapeutically informed learning environment for children aged 10-19 who have suffered some form of trauma and are unable to access main stream education.
