Administrative Officer required for Septmeber 2023 (possibly sooner) 

22.5 Hours per week, term time only Monday - Friday (8:30 - 13:00)

KR4 £21,389 - £22,493 (pro rata to £11,286.84 - £11,869.44 pro rate)

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, professional, well educated, highly organised, efficient and reliable person to the key role of Administrative Officer. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both adults and children, be able to multi task, have the ability to keep calm under pressure and to meet deadlines. They will also have discretion and a sense of humour. Previous experience of working in a school office would be an advantage, but not essential; you will however need excellent IT skills, be well organised and able to prioritise a varying workload.

Information about the school

Sandwich Junior is a two form entry school, who currently have 222 pupils on roll. We are fortunate to have extensive grounds, which include two large playgrounds, a gardening area, outdoor music equipment, an Orchard and a full size Labyrinth to aid mindfulness and reflection. The school has a strong set of Core Values which underpin everything we do. Our location in the centre of Sandwich, Kent means we serve families from the town and the wider area. We received an Outstanding grading in our most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2022). We have a friendly, dedicated staff who work seamlessly together as a team, ensuring every child reaches their own personal excellence through a focus on quality first teaching and pastoral support.
