Tenterden Schools Trust is a mixed multi academy trust in mid-Kent that currently encompasses one large secondary, five primaries and two nurseries.

We are seeking an inspirational leader who will:

Lead in all aspects of school improvement that results in improved life chances for our students.

Develop and sustain a clear focus on educational leadership, staff development and student outcomes.

Influence and maintain high levels of ambition, expectation and implementation with regard to all of our schools being successful.

You will be an experienced and innovative senior education professional with a track record of delivering significant improvement within a school or multi academy trust.  You will combine a record of successful strategic leadership and sustainable school improvement with energy, flair and a determination to succeed.

This is currently a part-time role with the precise hours being negotiable for the right candidate.  As the Trust grows, it is envisaged that this role may well become full-time in due course.

Information about the federation

Our Multi Academy Trust heads a growing number of successful schools in and around the Tenterden area. We have a mixed portfolio of Community and Church Schools and two nurseries. .

Having schools across all phases and catering for all ages allows us to create a seamless and coherent learning experience from birth to 19 in which our students flourish and are well prepared for their futures. We take personal well-being, family values and community involvement seriously and believe these are key foundations to our success.

Each of our schools maintains its own identity and each one has a special place within the community. We get to know our children and families well so that moving from one school to the next is so much easier for them. Anyone joining one of our Trust schools for the first time receives a warm welcome and they quickly become part of the family.

Learning is at the heart of what we do and we work together as a group of schools to share training and development opportunities for staff. Our staff use the latest educational research to make sure teaching is up-to-date, engaging and relevant to the world of work.
