Teaching Assistant (Learning Support Assistant)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm (Term-Time only, 39 weeks) with opportunities for flexible working

Salary: £19,000 per annum- term time actual salary, (based on a full-time salary of £25,333)

Start date: for March 2023 available

Closing Date: Monday 24th April 2023, 9am

 

We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with students who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to join our exceptional team who support students with their academic, personal and social development. 

West Heath School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, works towards helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood. All of our learners have Education, Health and Care Plans and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement. 

The successful candidates will need use of their own vehicle, have a good level of Maths and English and a flexible approach to working as there may be occasions where student require support at external locations, such as therapeutic farms and colleges.
