Teacher of Mathematics at Greenacre Academy

Salary: MPS/UPS + possible TLR/R&R for the right candidate

Hours: Full time, permanent

Plus a one off joining bonus of £2,000, paid in twelve monthly instalments

Are you passionate about mathematics and want to share your knowledge with the next generation? Do you have the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms? If so we want you to join our team!

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher of maths to join our team at Greenacre Academy.  The ideal candidate will hold a degree in mathematics, education or a related field and have previous experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.  As a teacher at Greenacre Academy, you will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students in their understanding of algebra, geometry, calculus and more. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the department curriculum

Requirements: 

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent
  • A degree or professional qualification in a related field
  • Experience of teaching at secondary level
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
