We are seeking a well organised, motivated and flexible person to join our Science Department as a Science Technician 3 days per week. The successful candidate will be required to plan and prepare equipment for lessons within all three disciplines of science and should be confident with handling chemicals and working in a team and alone.

This position is 22 hours per week Wednesday-Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm and Friday 8.00am-3.30pm, term time + 2 weeks. Salary will be within the HBHS Salary Band 3-4 dependent upon experience £20,350 to £21,550 pro rata, actual salary between approximately £10,500 - £11,200. Please note this salary is subject to a cost of living increase in April 2023 but is indicative of the current salary scale.

Herne Bay High School is a large hugely successful Single Academy Trust that serves the Herne Bay coastal area of North Kent. We have a comprehensive intake and are significantly oversubscribed in all year groups and in June 2022 Ofsted rated the school good with an Outstanding 6th form provision.
