Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Teacher of History. 

We are looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and effective History teacher to join our History department from September 2023.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the History curriculum and how this can be taught in an inspiring way to maximise exam success, spark students’ passion for the subject, and to help students to lead successful future lives.

They will have experience in teaching classroom History at different Key Stages with a good curriculum knowledge and understanding of GCSE and A-Level requirements and a  willingness to contribute to the school’s diverse extra-curricular programme.

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys (often referred to as WGSB) is an extremely considerate school with a wonderful learning environment and atmosphere.
