We are seeking an adaptable and flexible teaching assistant to join our dedicated, supportive SEN staff team. We are seeking a teaching assistant who is experienced in responding to the needs of pupils with SEN, supporting their personalised learning and social development across the day or is keen to develop within the role. The role will involve supporting pupils with specific needs within a Year R class. You will work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo / Inclusion manager.

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, term time only, during the hours of 8:30 am to 3:15pm. There will be flexible break times to enable SEN pupils to be supervised at lunchtime. We are aiming to start this role as soon as possible.


The role is term time only (38 weeks per year) on a temporary contract as the role is linked to pupil funding. The role will be reviewed alongside the funding application each year.

In May of this year, the school retained its Ofsted grading of ‘Good’ following an ungraded inspection. The report recognised that both parents and governors are exceptionally supportive of the school and it is a happy place to learn and work.
