We are looking to recruit a Communication Support Worker to provide specialist support for pupils who are hearing and speech impaired. This a 2 year fixed, term time only contract, 39 weeks a year, 33.75 hours a week.

The successful applicant will require British Sign and Language qualifications to level 1 minimum, working towards level 2. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, professional team supporting the needs of inspiring children with a range of learning difficulties.  

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and online checks 

Salary Kent Range 5 = £20,595-£21,693  (pro rata to £16,522- £17,403)

Plus Special Educational Needs Allowance £1187 (pro rata to the full time equivalent £1342)

The Wyvern School is a large, dynamic, forward-looking school, with the aim of helping to shape best practice for pupils with complex needs. The school caters for 350 pupils with severe, profound and complex needs including autism.
