Safeguarding, Wellbeing and EHCP Administrator

We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding, Wellbeing and EHCP Administrator to work alongside the Assistant Headteacher (Safeguarding and Wellbeing) on pupil safeguarding and child protection within the school. You will demonstrate the highest levels of commitment and compliance to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role or good knowledge of safeguarding and EHCP processes.

We are looking for an exceptional experienced administrator with excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and experience of working in a confidential environment. The ability to take minutes and proof-read is essential.

The successful candidate will be a confident, resilient and highly skilled individual with an approachable and friendly personality. They will be dedicated and committed to the vision, values and ethos of Laleham Gap School and will be continually forward-thinking and solution focused to ensure the school continues to operate smoothly. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills alongside a high level of integrity is essential.

This post is for 37 hours per week  – Term Time Only Plus 2 additional weeks to be worked during school holidays

Information about the school

Laleham Gap is a Foundation, Communication and Interaction Special School. We have pupils aged from 4 to 18 years of age. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. Most pupils will achieve some GCSEs or equivalent at age 16. Laleham Gap is a new, high quality and well-resourced environment and the opportunity to work with an established, experienced and highly motivated team.
