We are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic and creative Primary Teacher with the skills and commitment to lead Girls’ Games, on a part-time (0.6 fte) basis. You’ll be joining our dedicated staff team, and will make a full contribution to the extra-curricular life of this busy school.

You will be confident coaching at least two of our key sports, which include netball, hockey, cricket, rugby, football and athletics. You’ll have strong communication skills and be able to liaise proactively with other schools in our district to arrange fixtures and build on our strong sporting profile.

In the classroom you will teach creative and engaging lessons, be able to encourage all pupils to actively participate in classroom activities and develop cognitive, numerical and verbal reasoning skills. You will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, educating pupils in a fun and engaging manner, marking pupils’ work and providing them with necessary feedback, encouragement and support.

The post may suit a new entrant to the teaching profession, in which case training is provided, or an experienced teacher looking to develop their career within a friendly and supportive community. Regardless of the level of experience, a deep vocational commitment to teaching is essential.
