Longlands Primary School is looking for a School Business Manager on a permanent basis starting from March 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced office environment within a supportive team. The successful candidate will promote the highest standards of business across the school and lead on all aspects of administration, information technology, admissions, facilities management, capital projects, contract management, and catering. Additionally, the role will incorporate working collaboratively with the Premises Manager on health & safety matters.

This is an opportunity to join our hardworking and friendly staff team who are committed to ensuring excellent progress and achievement for all our children.

This is a varied role with a broad range of responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is organised and flexible and who is motivated by doing their very best for the children in our community.

 

We would welcome applications from candidates who:

• Have experience in financial management and planning

• Have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a school environment, although the ability to learn and use transferable skills is highly valued.

• Have excellent leadership skills and track record of successfully developing a team

• Are good communicators

• Can think strategically
