Cage Green Primary School is starting our own Breakfast and After School club.  We are looking to recruit a manager to run this club for us.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with the school team to set up a brand new club in just the way you would want so we want someone with strong vision to work with us to create an amazing provision for our children.  You will work alongside the school leadership to team to get everything going.  We are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our families and want someone who would feel equally excited to come and join us. 

The successful applicant will be required to work from 7.15- 8.45am and from 3:00pm to 6pm, 5 days per week.  There is a possibility that we could split the days and you could work either mornings or after school or a reduced number of days. Please phone the school to discuss this. 

The salary will be Kent Range 5 pro-rata (actual £10,542.34).  Please see the attached job description for details of the role.  

Candidates most suited to the post will have:

· Recognised qualification at least to NVQ level 3 or above, and preferably experience in running a play scheme or similar out of school provision.

· Some experience undertaking the administration involved in organising the provision and managing and delivering the service while it is in operation

· Current experience of working with 4-11 year olds in a play or primary education environment or experience of working in a breakfast and after school club setting

· Ability to work on own initiative and judgement and as part of a team

· Effective communication and organisational skills

· Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with all members of the school community

· Positive and enthusiastic attitude to play.

· A commitment to undertake training and continuous professional development.

· A positive, friendly and upbeat personality

· Knowledge of child protection/safeguarding

· Individuals who are proactive and flexible

Cage Green Primary School is a small, happy primary school in north Tonbridge with 210 pupils from Reception to Year Six, including a resourced provision for children with autistic spectrum conditions.
