We are seeking a passionate, caring, and fun loving, Nursery Practitioner to join our small team for 9 to 16 hours a week, term time only. The successful candidate will not only assist in the day-to-day duties within the Nursery but also have a flexible attitude. Duties include all aspects of childcare in the setting.  The successful candidate will have a good to excellent understanding of the EYFS and have a willingness to help prepare activities. Our focus is on visual observations of children with minimal written observations thus ensuring that most of your time is spent on playing and caring for children. The successful candidate must be passionate about learning, hard -working and must adhere to policies and procedures.

To be considered for the position of Nursery Practitioner, you must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification. 

Information about the Pre-school

The Learning Tree Staplehurst provides childcare for children from ages 2 until they go to school. We are open during Term time only, Monday, Thursday and Friday 9-12 and Tuesday and Wednesday 9-3. We set up the Nursery with open-ended resources so that children make their own choices in play and learning, and our planning will follow on from their interests.

Information about the school

We are a sessional nursery open for 38 weeks in the year. We are a small team of 5 friendly staff members, who work closely together to create a friendly environment for all to work in. We provide a secure and caring environment where our children can explore and learn through fun activities. We value all the children who attend the setting, meeting their individual needs. Our setting is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
