Lenham Primary School are seeking an experienced, well organised and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our busy office. The successful candidate will work calmly amidst frequent interruptions whilst priding themselves on making an excellent first impression of our school and creating long-lasting relationships with parents and colleagues, but especially with pupils who are at the heart of everything that we do.

We welcome applications from those who have previous, proven, experience in school administration and good organisational skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must, and the ability to prioritise workload, take own initiative and to work to deadlines is essential. Experience of working with school’s administrations systems (particularly SIMS) and attendance monitoring would be advantageous.

The position is for 15 hours per week (timings to be agreed) 38 weeks per year. With possibility of more hours for the right candidate.

The pay scale is KR4.  Start date is as soon as possible.

The closing date for applications is Monday 17th April at 12pm, with interviews for those short-listed. We reserve the right to close the advert earlier should a suitable candidate be found.  You may be asked to undertake a task based exercise.
