Meopham Community Academy, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Family Liaison Officer (FLO) to join our talented and dedicated team!

If you are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and making a real difference with families, this could be the role for you!

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled FLO. The successful candidate will work with a supportive team of staff engaging with parents/carers and families to provide early intervention, support and guidance to increase engagement with the school and improve the outcome for pupils.

 

The hours will be 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is based on Kent Range 5, £20,595 p.a. full-time equivalent, the actual pro rata salary will be £15,228.87p.a, based on 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • has recent experience of working with young people or families
  • has high expectations and is passionate about supporting children and families, directly impacting children’s mental health and wellbeing
  • has the ability to deal with sensitive and difficult situations with a solution focused approach
  • has excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills with a flexible attitude
  • is able to contribute to, and work as part of a team
  • has effective time management and an ability to work on own initiative

Meopham Community Academy is a two form entry primary school set in a beautiful village location and the school prides itself on providing a happy, safe and caring environment for all its pupils.
