We are looking to appoint three skilled, enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants to provide individual and small group support to pupils with significant learning needs, in Reception, Year 3 and Year 6.  You will be required to work closely with class teachers to maximise curriculum access for the pupils by delivering practical, relevant learning experiences, providing emotional and mental health support and supporting the acquisition of early phonics and basic skills. We encourage independence in all our pupils, so you will be expected to work with other pupils at times, both in and out of the classroom setting. You must have a good standard of English and Maths, and be able to communicate effectively with adults and children. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, are resilient, work well as part of a team and have a good sense of humour. Quite simply, we are looking to employ the staff our pupils deserve. The range of roles we have available, and the different year groups we are looking to support, mean we can offer a degree of flexibility in relation to the skills and experiences we are seeking in candidates.

These are temporary posts until the end of the academic year in the first instance, although we would hope to be able to extend them with continued High Needs Funding. Working hours would ideally be 8:30 am - 3:15pm Monday to Friday, although there could be some flexibility within this for the right candidates.
