We are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher to join our highly successful and very popular Science Department as Lead Practitioner in Chemistry. We are interested in someone who will contribute positively to the full range of teaching in this 11 – 18 selective school, but must be able to teach the subject at A level.

Expectations of student performance at our School is very high, so there is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject to make a marked difference working with high potential and extremely focused students.

Information about the school: Gravesend Grammar School is an 11-18 selective boys grammar school with girls admitted to the Sixth Form. The most recent Ofsted Inspection (June 2015) judged the School as ‘Outstanding’. We became an Academy on 1st August 2011 as part of The Decus Educational Trust (TDET). The school is currently going through a period of expansion. We have built a 10 million pound facility to accommodate the additional students. We will continue to rise year on year until we admit 1500 students (7 forms of entry). This is a really exciting time in the history of the school and has the potential to provide succession opportunities for colleagues that want to progress in their careers.
