Kent Range 3 £19293 FTE (actual salary £11,261) Salary increase due April 2023

Hours: 25 hours, 8.30am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday (Term time only)

 We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, friendly and reliable School Receptionist. you will need good IT, interpersonal and literacy skills, possess confidence and initiative and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of the school. Previous school office experience and experience of using different IT systems would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.

You will be part of an experienced admin team dealing with all reception duties.

The post requires the ability to be methodical, organised and the ability to prioritise work within a busy environment. 

We wish to appoint someone who has:

  • Experience of working within an office environment, essentially a school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A friendly, flexible and professional approach, particularly when multi-tasking under pressure.
  • A good working knowledge of office management systems such as Microsoft Word/Excel
  • The ability to prioritise workload to ensure office systems operate efficiently for the smooth running of the school.
  • You will have a positive approach to working with children and a commitment to our safeguarding procedures.

We specialise in providing day and residential education for pupils aged 4 to 19 years who have a diagnosis of Autism.
