Are you a motivated Teacher of Music looking for an exciting new position to start in September 2023? Do you want to inspire the minds of our young people through the power of music and performing arts? This could be the perfect next step for you!

Ebbsfleet Academy has a rare opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join their growing Performing Arts faculty. With the role commencing in September 2023, we offer the opportunity to be part of an expanding team with the prospect to set up and be the pioneer of our Music department. Our successful applicant will be able to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 and inspire students of all abilities through teaching a range of different styles and genres.

This position is an important one as our successful Musician will play a pivotal role in the developing and shaping of Music within the academy. Ebbsfleet Academy prides itself on having highly collaborative colleagues and support from the Senior Leadership Team who value and understand the importance of the arts. Through this support, our successful teacher will have the opportunity to lead and create an exciting extracurricular program.

Applications from Early Career Teachers (ETCs) are welcome as are applications from more experienced teachers; we can offer a fantastic range of professional development opportunities within the academy and across the wider Trust.

This is a permanent opportunity and for the right candidate, we have the flexibility to offer this position as either part-time or full-time (minimum 3 days per week). The salary offered is MPS/UPS commensurate with experience + London Fringe Allowance.
