We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor Lead to join and lead our excellent team in supporting children at lunchtime. The role involves overseeing the organisation of the Midday Meals Supervisor team and acting as a link between the team and the School Business Manager. Additionally, you will be supervising, safeguarding and interacting with pupils across the school, to ensure their well-being and safety are supported and that they have an enjoyable dining and lunchtime experience. A supportive adult at lunch time could transform their experience across the school day and lead to positive personal development as well as prepare them for a successful learning afternoon.

The post is for 15 hours per week (term time only) which includes management time for ensuring a full rota is in place for the week as well as the registration and recording of all first aid matters that need to be communicated to teaching staff/office team. You will be required to work from 11.30am to 14.30pm, Monday to Friday, using the time either side of the pupils’ lunch period to carry out the additional duties of the role. The pay scale is set at Kent Range 3 (£19,293 for a full-time post) pro rata.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a strong, friendly and supportive team also working closely with the Assistant Headteacher and SENCo to ensure all pupils needs are met during the lunch period.

Claremont Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We always ensure clearance of enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) prior to employment.

Application will close at 12pm on Wednesday 22nd March 2023 with interviews on Monday 27th March 2023.

Please do call the school for further information and speak with Mrs Julie Cook 01892 831395.
