Including Outer Fringe Allowance
36 hours per week, term time only for 39 weeks per year including INSET days.

Parkwood Hall is a residential and day school for pupils aged 8-19 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties and other complex needs including autism and language difficulties.  We are passionate about our Co-operative values of self-help, self- responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity.

A Key Worker is required to join the residential education staff group this term. Parkwood Hall Co-operative Academy is a Residential School for Students with Special Educational Needs situated in Swanley, Kent.

This is an important role in the residential provision, supporting the waking day educational environment for students.  This includes extending their curriculum skills, social skills, life and independent skills and personal development.

You will be a personal tutor to students, contributing to annual reviews and end of year reports.  You will be involved in rota duties such as sleeping in.

You will be expected to be able to demonstrate an ability to make a positive contribution to residential education management and organisation.

Applicants will be expected to hold a relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 or be prepared to work towards acquiring one.

The hours for this Acting post are 20 hours over 39 weeks per week in early mornings, afternoons, and evenings of Mondays to Fridays.
