We think our school is very special.  We make learning irresistible for our children and staff through an experience based curriculum. We now have a great opportunity for a new member to join our team as an SEND teaching assistant. Experience of working with children, particularly those with additional needs, is desirable but not essential.  We are very keen on training so happy to develop the correct person in-house. 

This can be a full-time post [8.40 a.m. to 3.20 p.m], but could possibly be part time. It is also temporary at the moment. The main role of the position will be to work with small groups. We are very flexible and enabling the best provision for our children is key, so we are looking for the best person for the job, rather than the first person available.

Information about the school

East Peckham Primary School is a one form entry village school, with approximately 180+ pupils on roll. We serve a thriving village community and enjoy close links with other local primary schools. Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom. We also benefit from a large site, with a swimming pool, award winning radio station and Forest School.
