The Howard Academy Trust has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our talented and progressive Central Operations Finance team. The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time in our growth as a Multi Academy Trust, with another secondary school joining us in April 2023.

Applications for part time (minimum 30 hours) or full time (37 hours) will be accepted. This role will be Term Time Only plus 1 week and hours are worked over Monday- Friday.

For candidates who wish to work 30 hours TTO + 1 week, the salary range will be from £15,235.23 to £16,085.04
For candidates who wish to work full time i.e., 37 hours TTO+ 1 week, the salary range will be from £18,790.11 to £19,837.83.

The successful candidate will provide high quality financial support as part of the Trust Central Finance Team, lead on the preparation of payment runs, including preparation of pay lists and uploading to the bank, and ensure the effective operation of the Finance department. The successful applicant will be organised, hardworking, and have a keen eye for detail.

 

The Howard Academy Trust is also willing to fund an AAT Level 3 for the successful candidate after the probation period if this qualification is not held already.

Information about the federation

The Howard Academy Trust started in Autumn 2015 and continues to grow.

We currently comprise of 3 secondary and 4 primary academies in Medway and Kent. We have future growth plans as a Multi Academy Trust with major projects taking place across the organisation.
