We welcome applications for a full-time (30 hours per week) Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team as soon as possible.

The person we appoint will have a love of working with children and the ability to inspire learning and support development. They will have high expectations of themselves and of children to enable every child to be fully included and to reach their potential, whilst showing initiative and adaptability. This is a diverse role, primarily supporting teaching and learning as a class teaching assistant, but the ability to be a flexible would be advantageous.

An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential as a minimum qualification.

Information about the school

Riverhead is a three form intake infant school on the outskirts of the town of Sevenoaks. Our eco-friendly sedum-roofed building is set in beautiful grounds enabling our pupils to enjoy their learning both indoors and out. We have received numerous awards for our excellent practice including the School Award for Resilience and Wellbeing and Platinum Award for our OPAL. Our school is over-subscribed and well supported by parents and the local community.
