As the largest Catholic multi-academy trust (MAT) in the south of England, currently comprising 25 academies (20 primary & 5 secondary), KCSP are determined not only to do the right thing by the pupils that we educate and the staff that we employ, but to do so to the highest possible standard.

We are seeking a Governance Officer, who is well-versed in senior organisational administration, to support our Trust Board and academy governance committees in their work as Directors and governance committee members.

You will be driven to ensure best governance practise at every level of our Trust, including the work of each of our academy governance committees (currently 35). Allied to a track record of senior administrative delivery and leadership, your background may be in a similar sized private sector company, charity, local authority, or other public sector agency.

This is a full-time role. However, flexible working would be considered for the right candidate. This role will be based at Barham Court, Teston, Kent but the post holder will be expected to attend meetings at academy sites, together with other diocesan and work-related locations when required. A flexible working approach, including some evenings will be required according to the necessary demands of the role.

The Trust and our academies offer a supportive, inspiring working environment with staff development at our heart.

If you would like an informal discussion in confidence about this role, please contact Director of Governance & Company Secretary, Charlotte Robinson at: crobinson@kcsp.org.uk

Please send your completed Catholic Education Service (CES) Application Form, completed CES Recruitment Monitoring Form, CES Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 Disclosure Form and CES Consent to Obtain References Form to Charlotte Robinson at: crobinson@kcsp.org.uk

The successful applicant will be committed to promoting and upholding the Catholic ethos of the Trust and its academies, but you do not need to be a Catholic to apply for this role.

KCSP and our academies are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and require all staff, helpers and Governance Committee Members to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and section 128 check.
