Horsted School are looking to appoint a SENCO on maternity cover to start in September 2023

We are looking for applicants with previous experience and who have completed the National Award for SEN Coordination.  They should also have demonstrated outstanding practice when in role as a classroom teacher with experience of working with children with additional needs and passionate about raising standards and help support them in their learning.

The successful applicant will benefit from working collaboratively with the inspirational teachiing staff at Horsted School and support our school vision, providing our pupils, their families and our teachers with excellend support and direction.

The Post is for 0.6 FTE (3 days a week) days to be discussed upon interview.  Pay is dependant on experience from MPS plus SEN Allowance to UPS plus SEN Allowance.  Previous experience is preferred.

Materntiy cover is for 4 - 6 months starting in September 2023,  length of time to be confirmed

The successful applicant must:

Be an experienced qualified teacher with QTS

Hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination

Have experience of working with children with special needs
